What Determines FRSC Salary

The Federal Road Safety uses the Consolidated Paramilitary Salary Structure (CONPASS) which is also used by the Nigeria Immigration Service, Nigeria Customs Service, Nigerian Correctional Service, Federal Fire Service and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps etc.

The salary structure is always reviewed and confirmed by the National Salaries, Incomes and Wages Commission (NSIWC) etc.

The four (4) major factors that determines how much an FRSC officer cadre earns are as follow:

1. Entry qualification: This is the first highest qualification you provide to the Federal Road Safety during application. It could be O’level (WAEC/GCE/NECO or NABTEB), National Diploma (ND), Nigeria Certificate of Education (NCE), Higher National Diploma (HND), or Bachelor’s degree and this influences the cadre and grade level to start.
