How Ministry of Interior Recruitment Works: The CDCFIB System
Many Nigerians who search for “Ministry of Interior recruitment” expect to submit application directly on the Ministry’s website but that is not how the process works. Having a proper understanding of the recruitment structure gives you an immediate advantage.
The Federal Ministry of Interior does not conduct recruitment directly rather delegates employment process for paramilitary agencies to the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB).
Now, CDCFIB is a statutory body established for the sole purpose of overseeing recruitment, training, promotions and disciplinary matters across Civil Defence, Correctional Service, Fire and Immigration Service etc.
The official CDCFIB recruitment application portal is recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng.
The One Agency Rule
There’s something most applicants do get wrong and this usually disqualifies them. The fact that CDCFIB recruits for four (4) agencies does not mean you can apply for all at the same time.
You may only apply to ONE agency per recruitment cycle. Failure to follow this rule, the system will flag and disqualify your application.
In plain terms, you cannot submit an application to the Nigeria Immigration Service, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps at the same time.
