The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) recently issued a press released signed by the Head of Human Resources about the commencement of 2026 recruitment exercise from Friday, 3rd July 2026 at recruitment.frsc.gov.ng which is the official application portal.

The Akwa Ibom State Universal Basic Education (AKSUBEB) announced that the recruitment for 1,000 primary school teachers will start from Wednesday, 1st July till Friday, 31st July 2026.
Requirements:
- Applicant must be an indigene of Akwa Ibom.
- Must possess a valid ID card.
- Certificate of Origin.
- B.Sc., NCE or HND
3. Nigerian Army 91 Regular Recruits Intake (91RRI) – Status: Closed
The Nigerian Army 9RRI recruitment for tradesmen/women and non-tradesmen/women started on 30th March 2026 and was closed on 17th May 2026.
Requirements:
- Applications were only accepted from Nigerian citizens by birth.
- National Identity Card, Voter’s card or Passport.
- Certificate of Origin
- Academic credentials
- Medical report showing that candidate is medically, physically and psychologically sound.

4. Nigerian Army SSC 2026 – Status: Closed
The Nigeria army recruitment for Short Service Combatant Commission (SSCC) Course 49 was from 9th October 2025 to 12th November 2025 and the process was completed in 2026.

- Applicant must be a Nigerian citizen between 23 – 27 years.
- Submitted attestation letter from a Local Government Chairman/Secretary or a Senior civil service.

5. Nigerian Navy DSSC Recruitment 2026/2027 – Status: Ongoing
Applications for the Nigerian Navy Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC) is ongoing and you can register at www.joinnigeriannavy.com.
Requirements:
- Applicant must have either Bachelor’s degree with Second Class lower division or an HND with Lower Credit.
- A valid NYSC discharge or exemption certificate is mandatory.
- Only applicants aged between 22 – 28 are accepted.
- The minimum height for male applicant is 1.69 meters while female is 1.65.

6. Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) Recruitment 2025/2026 – Status: Awaiting Screening Stage
In 2025 the Nigerian Customs Service commenced recruitment and over 570,00 applications were received for the position of Superintendent, Inspectorate and Customs Assistant Cadre. Names of shortlisted candidates were released and CBT written. Currently, candidates are awaiting physical screening.
