The Chevron Nigeria internship programme also known as the Nigerianisation Manpower Acceleration (NMA) internship is the company’s corporate social responsibility and commitment to foster Student Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES).

Types of Chevron Nigeria Internship Programme
The various aspects of this internship programme are as follows:
- NMA Undergraduate Internship: This is specifically for students who are currently studying in a recognized higher institution for the award of a Bachelor’s degree, National Diploma (ND) or Higher National Diploma (HND).
- NMA Postgraduate Internship: This targets students who are currently doing their Master’s programme, Doctorate or any other professionally recognized postgraduate qualification.
- Graduate Trainee Programme: This is bit different from internship as it targets fresh graduates who are in search of the right opportunity to contribute their quota and also gain professional exposure.
- Specialised Healthcare internships: This focuses on undergraduates or postgraduates of Medical Radiographer, Pharmacist or any other relevant clinical qualifications.

Eligibility Requirements/Qualifications

1. Undergraduate Internship
- Interested person must be a Nigerian citizen by birth.
- Must possess a valid National Identity Card or equivalent identification.
- Applicant must currently be studying in any recognized higher institution in Nigeria for B.S.C or HND.
- Applicant must have school’s approval for the mandatory SIWES placement.
- Must be ready to avail themselves throughout the internship period.
2. Postgraduate Internship
- Applicant must be a Nigerian citizen and possess valid National Identity Card.
- Should currently undergo either a Master’s, Doctoral, or any other postgraduate professional programme.
- Having a formal research work or industry placement is mandatory.
3. Medical Radiographer Internship
- Applicants for this role must have a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Radiography from a recognised tertiary institution.
- Must possess an active provisional license issued by the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria (RRBN).
- Must be a Nigerian citizen with valid means of identification.
- Must possess good communication and interpersonal skills etc.
4. Pharmacist Internship
- Most suitable for fresh pharmacy graduates in need of an opportunity to complete their mandatory one (1) year pre-registration with the Pharmacy Council of Nigeria.
- Applicant must be a Nigerian citizen with valid means of identification.
