General Eligibility Requirements
In line with Federal Character principle, the eligibility criteria to apply for FMOJ recruitment 2026/2027 are as follows:
Citizenship and Age: Prospective applicant must be a Nigerian citizen who also possess identification such as NIN, voter’s card, international passport etc. Also, the acceptable entry level age is between 18 and 35 years.
Educational Qualifications:
Basically, all applicant must have a minimum of five (5) credits including Mathematics and English Language. Moving up the ladder;
- A Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from a recognised Nigerian university
- A Call to Bar certificate from the Nigerian Law School (for positions that require legal practice)
- A Master’s degree (LL.M. or related field) is an added advantage.
For administrative, finance, human resource, ICT, and support staff, applicants with Bachelor’s degree or HND are eligible to apply.
At secondary school level, a minimum of five credits in WAEC/NECO/NABTEB in no more than two sittings is required. English Language is compulsory among the five credits.

- Readiness to relocate to any part of the country when the need arises.
- Applicant must be a computer literate.
