Federal Road Safety Corps – FRSC screening date 2026 is Wednesday, 19 August to Friday, 21 August 2026. Time is 8:00am and venue is FRSC sector commands in all the thirty-six (36) states of the country.

The Nigeria road safety corps has officially confirmed that applicants have started receiving screening invitation and that the physical screening will hold simultaneously in all 37 sector commands including FCT beginning 19th – 21st August 2026.

All shortlisted candidates won’t report for the screening at the same time; it is majorly be based on the position/cadre you applied for.
For example; All Officer cadre applicants i.e. Superintendent Route Commander, Route Commander/Deputy Route Commander, and Assistant Route Commander are to report for screening on 19 August 2026 at their respective state sector command.

Inspectorate cadre applicants are reporting on 20 August 2026 while Road Marshal Assistant cadre applicants which includes drivers, riders, articulated vehicle drivers, and artisans (tailors, technicians, plumbers, mechanics, and other trades) will report on 21 August 2026.
You can further confirm this from the official FRSC invitation email or SMS that will be sent to you. It will contain the specific date, time, venue and sector command for you.
FRSC 2026 Screening Time
According to the screening invitation email received by most applicants, we recommend you arrive the State Sector Command at 7:00am at the process will start by 8:00am. This way you will have extra time to get used to the environment and put your documents in order.
Understand that arrival late might draw a penalty while missing the screening exercise as a whole will result to automatic disqualification.

Shortlisted candidates are not to report to FRSC’s national headquarters but rather the sector command office in their respective states. It does not necessarily mean your state or origin or residence, that is why its important you check the notification sent to your email.

Note: Persons who selected FCT during the application phase will likely be screened at FRSC Sector Command, Abuja because the venue covers all 37 sector commands.
Representatives from the Federal Character Commission (FCC) shall be present to observe how the screening exercise goes. This is to ensure that each Sector Command is in compliance with federal character guidelines.
Documents to Bring for FRSC Screening 2026
In line with FCC and FRSC requirements, shortlisted candidates must bring the following documents to the screening venue:
- A printed copy of your FRSC application/acknowledgement slip
- A printed copy of your email screening invitation from FRSC.
- Original and photocopies of academic certificates (WAEC/NECO, OND, HND, or B.Sc. etc.)
- NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate for applicants with HND or B.Sc.
- Your National ID Card (NIN)
- Original and photocopy of State of Origin
- Recent passport photographs
- Birth certificate or age declaration
Caution to FRSC Shortlisted Candidates
Kindly note that the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) will never request you make payment at any stage of the recruitment exercise including the screening exercise. Thus, refrain from individuals, groups or websites making false claims in quest to extort money from you.

Is FRSC 2026 screening date the same for all shortlisted candidate? No, shortlisted candidates are segmented for screening based on the cadre they applied for. But generally, the screening process will hold from 19 – 21 August 2026.
If I fail to attend the screening, is there a penalty? Yes, candidateswho fail to report at FRSC’s sector command for their screening will automatically be disqualified from the recruitment process.
Can I change my assigned FRSC screening venue? Unfortunately, shortlisted candidates are expected to visit their assigned screening venue on specified date and time. Currently, there is no provision to make changes for the venue.
Will FRSC shortlisted candidates write Computer-Based Test (CBT)? According to the update from FRSC, shortlisted candidates are to first report for physical screening where document verification, physical assessment (height, weight & medical examination) etc. will be carried out. There is no information about writing CBT exam at the moment.
How will I know I have been shortlisted by FRSC for screening? To confirm you have been shortlisted by the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) for screenin, check your email’s inbox, spam and junk folder for the invite. If you find nothing, check again later but overall if you’ve not been sent to email, it means you were not shortlisted.
